Helen is Chairman at Advanced Boardroom Excellence, a leading board effectiveness consultancy. She is the Chairman of the Criminal Cases Review Commission, a Non-Executive Director at United Biscuits UK, C&C Group Plc and Chairman of their Remuneration Committee and the SID at OneHealth. Helen is the President of National Children's Charity KidsOut and INSEAD Directors Network Board (IDN). For eight years she was Chairman of the Queen’s Counsel Selection Panel. In 2015 Helen Pitcher was awarded an OBE for services to business.

An experienced non-executive director, Julie was Chairman of Risk and Senior Independent Director of Standard Life Aberdeen, and served on the boards of Santander UK, Spirit Pubs, and Mitsui Amlin. Her executive career was at UBS, where she was a member of the Investment Bank board and founded the “CreditDelta” risk management product, which won industry awards for innovation every year from 2001-2009. In 2013 she was recognised in The Times newspaper as the youngest female director of a FTSE-100 company, aged 41.
